Price Nine Shillings; and Volume I. Price One Pound | Sixteen Shillings in Boards; | of | The Natural History of British Quadrupeds; | [...]'. Pp.2-4 carry the 'Advertisement', beginning: 'The present Work is intended to elucidate the Natural History of British Quadrupeds, in the same form and manner, and with the same peculiar attention to scientific accuracy, as characterize the several works on the Zoology of the British Isles, which the author has already submitted, with very flattering success, to the world.' At foot of last page is a list of four works 'Published by the same Author', with prices.
